With experiences producing rounds, Shehu Sani, an activist and former senator who represented Kaduna central at the upper chamber of the Countrywide Assembly, may be celebrating the new 12 months in detention.
Shehu Sani was reported to have been arrested by the Economic and Economical Crimes Fee (EFCC) on Tiesday, December 32, on allegation of extortion.
Newswatch learnt that the erstwhile member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and critic of the present administration, was arrested above allegation of extorting $20,000 from a businessman.
The Nation quoted a source as saying: “He was said to have gathered the $20,000 from the owner of ASD Motors on the grounds that he is really close to the EFCC boss.

“He was subsequently arrested and granted administrative bail while he refunded the cash to the victim.”
It was learnt that the previous senator was questioned to report himself, but that absolutely nothing experienced been listened to from him since then.
“He should have been scamming a large amount of men and women, dropping the name of the EFCC manager,” the medium quoted the supply as saying.
