The Sokoto Condition Governorship Election Tribunal on Wednesday dominated that the petition filed by Ahmed Aliyu challenging the declaration of Aminu Tambuwal as the winner of the governorship election is legitimate.
Channels stories that the tribunal, sitting down at the Wuse Zone 2 Justice of the peace courtroom following it was relocated from Sokoto State to Abuja for alleged safety reasons, declared the petition as ‘proper in legislation.’
The petitioner had earlier elevated objections in opposition to the petition urging it to dismiss the petition for missing in advantage, unanimously, the tribunal dismissed the objections and held that the petition was thoroughly submitted.
The tribunal similarly dominated that the petitioners, Aliyu and his social gathering, the All Progressives Congress (APC) duly compensated the filling expenses.
