Buhari pledges Nigeria’s guidance to UNGA president


President Muhammadu Buhari has pledged Nigeria’s unflinching support to the new president of the United Nations Standard Assembly (UNGA), Prof. Tijjani Muhammad-Bande.

Newswatch.ng stories that president Buhari, who is in New York for the 74th UNGA, compensated a courtesy take a look at the Nigerian diplomat.

In accordance to a statement by his spokesman, Mr. Femi Adesina, Buhari advised Muhammad-Bande that he bore a heavyweight on his shoulders, adding that Nigeria was solidly behind him in the onerous endeavor.

Muhammad-Bande, a Nigerian diplomat, was in June this year, unanimously elected the President of UNGA for a single calendar year.
