For Me (Adeleke Gold):-

I got an SMS from a friend asking me to borrow him N50,000 because he was stranded somewhere along Ibadan expressway. I ignored it, next I got a mail from him and out of fear of him being Kidnapped or Robbed, I forgot to check his email address to confirm.

He sent me a Bank account details via Text message with a different name and out of that Fear, I did not even bother to call to ask why he sent a different bank account details.

I sent him the N50,000 he requested for. 30 minutes later, I got a knock on my door and it was this my Friend that borrowed money from and I was like “Wow! So Fast? and how were you able to resolve your issue?”

What issue? he asked, I narrated what happened to him and he was “No oooo.. I no send you any SMS oo, Me wey dey my Girlfriend place dey enjoy”.. I was confused.

I checked the phone number and that was when I realised the SMS was sent to me via a Bulk SMS Platform with his phone number as the Send name”.. I just kept shut and I said to myself, “Wo ti Gba Mi”..

Tell us yours.
